My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

I am a patient-focused, primary care physician that believes in personalized care. I believe that a patient is a unique individual, not a number or a group. My approach aligns very closely with my values and goals for your care. As an MDVIP-affiliated primary care physician, I will be able to increase the preventive care I provide to help improve your well-being and quality of life. Similar to conveniences often associated with concierge medicine practices, I also offer same- or next-day appointments that start on time.  

I was born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware. Both of my parents were physicians, as are two of my siblings. I am a graduate of Columbia University, with a degree in Applied Physics Engineering. I worked for a local chemical company before realizing that it was not my calling. I returned to school and graduated from Jefferson Medical College in 1997. I completed my residency at Christiana Care in 2000 and have been practicing with an individualistic approach in Wilmington since that time. 

I am a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Delaware Academy of Medicine and an appointed Clinical Instructor for the Christiana Care Family Practice residency program, as well as Jefferson Medical College students. I am affiliated with the Christiana Care Hospital system.
