My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

During my 25 years of practice, I have strived to see the unique identity and personal value of each patient. As an MDVIP-affiliated physician, I now have the time to create a close partnership with each patient to provide individualized care. I am able to educate and prevent as well as diagnose and treat.
I was raised to always "go the second mile", and in my smaller, more intimate practice settting, I am able to go above and beyond to keep you happy and healthy.

Testimonials from patients of Dr. Eger

from Anna in OH March 27, 2020 for Charles Eger, MD

Thank you for being our doctor for some 25+ years. We really appreciate your dedication to making sure we have had the best medical care over the years. Besides giving us your expert care, you have always sought out the advice/care of excellent specialists as needed. A key recommendation was for a lipid specialist when cardiac medication, diet and exercise failed to improve cholesterol issues… See more

I have known Dr. Charlie Eger since his residency program at The Christ Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio almost 35 years ago. As soon as I could, I signed on as one of his patients in private practice. I am still a patient of Dr. Eger's driving 30 miles round trip to see him. But, of course, I would drive another 50 miles to insure that he and I are taking care of me. In 30 years he has NEVER… See more

Had a cough heading into the Christmas Holiday. Decided to ask for some medication, response was need to visit , visit revealed a serious case of a-fib. Offered to drive me to the hospital 10 miles away. Surgeon told my wife “just in time” after the open heart bypass surgery.

You're the reason I'm here today. Thanks to your personal care and attention (answering a call on a Sunday morning!) and your quick action (arranging for my immediate admittance at the emergency department) I survived a saddle pulmonary embolism.

Im 77 years old and in reasonably good health due in large part to my health care being received by Dr. Eger. I was a patient of his prior to his joining MDVIP, and I was satisfied then, but the level of care and attention he is now free to devote to my issues is remarkably better. He has always been well-prepared and up-to-date on my condition, meds, and needs, but it was a great leap forward… See more

Remember when we went to the doctor and were rushed through in five to 10 minutes? Told to go home and take an aspirin? How times change!
Today, I go to a caring doctor who allows plenty of time to sit down and explain things in terms that I can understand. My doctor cares that I am fully informed about all my options. My doctor and partner in good health is Dr. Charles Eger.
